Weidong Cloud Education and IITE signed a cooperation

At 9 a.m. on March 26, 2018 Mobile Learning Week officially opened at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. The learning week is jointly organized by UNESCO and International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Specialized Agency for Information and Communication Technologies. The theme, "Skills in the Connected World", aims to expand the knowledge base of international digital skills education, attended by ministers of education, science and technology and communications from various countries.

Audrey Azule, Director-General of UNESCO, unveiled the Learning Week. She emphasized the importance of adapting local education and training systems to the ongoing technological revolution, "In our increasingly connected world, digital skills are a prerequisite for economic and social integration, and we need innovative policies and investments to bridge the digital divide and to provide all learners with digital skills and vigorously expand opportunities to acquire these abilities at any time."

As a UNESCO strategic partner, Weidong Cloud Education was invited to participate in the mobile Learning Week for the second time. This year, in his speech, he highlighted the first global Internet education platform-Weidong Cloud Academy.

During the Mobile Learning Week, Weidong Cloud Education also showed the cooperation plan to the participants and signed a cooperation agreement with the UNESCO Institute of Educational Information Technology (IITE). Both parties will use ICT technology and innovative teaching and learning methods to establish schools of the future in Africa, Central Asia and other countries.
