Overseas Expansion Cooperation

Cooperation with the UNESCO Higher Education Innovation Center (UNESCO ICHEI)

In order to jointly promote the informatization level of global partner universities, Weidong Cloud Education jointly build the “Weidong Remote Smart Classroom”. Partner universities use the smart classroom to carry out localized teacher ICT capacity building training to achieve the reception and management of remote digital resources, as well as localization promotion and application.
“Weidong Remote Smart Classroom” will be implemented at the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore in Pakistan, the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia, the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, Ain Shams University in Egypt, Addis Ababa University (AAU) in Ethiopia, and the University of Djibouti in Djibouti.

Cooperation with the UNESCO Institute for Information and Education (UNESCO IITE)

In order to explore the transformation of the education model, Weidong Cloud Education has worked with partner vocational high schools in Africa, Central Asia, and Russia to build the “School of the Future”. Strengthen the comprehensive capacity building of school teaching practices based on new information and communication technologies.

Cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Education

During the Qingdao Summit in June 2018, Weidong Cloud Education signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the SCO Secretariat.
In August, it signed a cooperation agreement with the SCO Business Council for further deepen cooperation in the field of education. The two sides will carry out pragmatic cooperation in the fields of education, science and technology, and new technologies to jointly promote the development of humanities exchanges within the SCO region, promote the transformation of education information, and establish education and training centers for member countries in the region.
